Hi there !

I live in France and recently we switch to summer time by an hour. And it's always a pain in the ass for me but anyway I had this idea of what I call Universal Light Time (ULT) and after some research I found your project and I wonder if I could use it to have this time on my phone typically.

So let me explain ULT, and where the idea came from :
When switching by an hour either direction to get better sync with the sun, it's an actual brutal event for the body. It evolved to be used to a swift shifting of daylight throughout the full year. And there in a instant it experiences a full hour shift that would have taken month to happen in normal condition.
There are always confrontation on if we should keep summer time or winter time but I think really none of them is actually ideal and the problem is that day light at a specific time in the day changes. So I thought that with modern technology you could actually define time so that the day light or brightness would be the same throughout the year every day at the same hour, for example 7 AM. And to do that you could just say it's 7 AM when the terminator, aka the line between day and night, hits you.
So of course it would be a bit unpractical cause you will be in sync only with people that are on the same méridien or same longitude. So to account for that one could just set the time for an entire country around the closest meridian of the country (to be defined), and say it is 7 AM when the terminator hits this specific meridian (to be defined too cause the earth is tilted so the terminator does not hit a meridian exactly).

So there was the explanation and I'd really like to implement it ! 🤗 It feels like your project Sunalyzer could help me do this. So I can fork your project create my own branch and would love if you could help me a bit with exploring your code and how I could do what I want to have ULT available for me but also for anyone out there !

Thanks anyway for any answer ! 🤘🤙
