Can you please take a screenshot of the same screen where you are having success with the older version? (And which older version?)

It appears that WZ is correctly asking your router to create a port mapping (via UPnP), and your router is claiming it is doing so.

Unfortunately, this means that there's a decent chance that the problem lies beyond WZ.

That could be something like issues caused by new router firmware, or firewall / security software updates. Or changes made by your ISP - ex. the addition of CGNAT, no longer assigning your connection a publicly-routable IPv4 address, or other configuration changes at the ISP level. Something that happened to generally coincide with the timeframe since you last hosted a game.

I'd suggest asking your ISP if anything has changed around the time the problem started. (We have had one other report of someone's ISP recently only assigning them an IPv6 address - they were able to call and request an IPv4 address and then easily host again.)

There is work on future improvements and changes to make hosting WZ games much easier (even when there are things like CGNAT in the way) but for now the best suggestion I can make is to start by contacting your ISP.

I work on a rotational basis in another country. And it is unlikely that a local provider will offer anything better than this...

How do I understand that once I become a moderator I won't be able to host anything either?
