HL2 RTX Remix - some progress made, anyone else?

Took me ages to figure out you need to install Optiscaler in
steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 RTX\bin.trex
Which is where the RTX Remix exe (NvRemixBridge.exe) is, do not put it beside any of the HL2.exes that you will find, even the one in the remix folder.

Also the DLL name that worked for me is winmm.dll... worked as in I see DLSS in the game now but it doesnt enable, I get "DLSS Computed Mode Invalid" written under the dropdown.

Trying to get the Optiscaler menu working now , presume some conflict with the RTX Remix overlay. Forcing on FPS overlay via INI file causes CTD on launch.

I got it to work. In the Optiscaler.ini, under the [Spoofing] section, you must set "VulkanExtensionSpoofing="to true . The RTX Remix menu unfortunately interferes with Optiscaler's GUI, but you can confirm that it's working by setting "ShowFPS=" to true in the Optiscaler.ini as well. "VulkanUpscaler=" should be set to either fsr31 or xess , both options work for Vulkan in OptiScaler_v0.7.7-pre7_20250323

Not at the moment, there is no FSR 4 DLL released for Vulkan yet. The best we can use right now is XESS 2.0.x. I was able to get HL2 RTX to show the Reflex Low Latency option by using the DLSS Enabler method instead of just Optiscaler, but I couldn't get the game to show the Frame Gen menu options no matter what I tried. FakeNVAPI and Nukems DLSSG-TO-FSR3 appear to load, when added but the game just isn't having it. I wouldn't go out of the way to add DLSS Enabler just to enable Reflex, it didn't make a noticable difference to latency.
