Import devices with template function

In Connections -> Devices settings there is an option to "import devices with template". Is there any documentation on what this option does or how to use it?

I did some experimenting with FUXA and Notepad++ and now understand it a bit better. ;-)

"Import devices" reads a csv/json file, all tags configured in the connections in FUXA are overwritten by the tags and configuration from the import file.
1: Use to modify tag names, addresses, log settings etc. (Bulk modify.)
2: Any tags present in the FUXA connections but not in the import file will be deleted from FUXA. (Bulk erase.)
3: You can export the devices from a project and import into a new project. Connection will automatically created.

With "import devices with template" a copy of the of the original connection will be created containing the tags defined in the import file. New tag ID's will be generated.

You can combine these two menu options to add extra tags to an existing connection.
1: "Import devices with template", export, change tag device ID, and update with "import devices". (Bulk add.)
