Authorization Groups

Hello guys,

I am trying to figure out what are the permissions of the default groups and how can i edit them.
I also tried to create user roles, but the only way to make and hierarchy is by index and it is not enough for my needs.
Please guide me through.

Hi, the default groups cannot be edited.
The index you see for user roles is only used to define the order in the list — it doesn’t represent a hierarchy or permission level.
The roles themselves are quite flexible, and you can configure permissions for each one individually.
If you could describe your specific needs a bit more in detail...

i need some roles to view only, others to view and press buttons, others to change some variables and others to check activity log of other roles.

can you please guide me to where i can see those permissions and configure them? where do i find them?

Groups and roles work based on the same principle — the only difference is that groups are fixed and cannot be modified.
What you're trying to achieve isn't currently possible: both groups and roles apply only to Views, not to the Editor.
Access to the Editor is restricted to administrators only.
