Please see the section here for configuring Graphiti to use an OpenAI-compatible API for open source models run via vLLM and other compatible inference services.

Please note the warning in this section. Graphiti makes heavy use of structured outputs. If the model is incapable of reliably outputting the required format, Graphiti will error out in this way.
