I'm sure many users don't like a monolithic color for everything on their screen, but separate colors. For example, a light theme for the interface, but all the panels are dark.
However, many icon themes are designed for either a completely dark theme or a completely light one, which is why if a user uses a light theme but his lxpanel is dark, the icons on it are also dark and merge with the background.
I suggest adding the ability to customize a separate icon theme for the panel, which will allow you to make light icons on dark panels.
I've seen a similar implementation in LXQT, but nothing works properly for me in LXQT. LXDE is better.
