I'm a software developer, and in my free time I work on open-source projects — mostly around Home Assistant and smart home tech.

Right now, I'm focused on:

• Home Assistant Volvo integration: Brings your Volvo car into Home Assistant with entities like battery level, charging status, location, (un)lock, and more. It started as a custom integration, and I'm now working on bringing it to HA core.

• Volvo API Python package: A standalone library for interacting with Volvo's API — reusable in any Python project.

• Home Assistant Qbus integration: Connects Qbus home automation systems (Belgian-made) to Home Assistant, exposing nearly all Qbus entities and allowing easy integration with other platforms. It began as an add-on and is now available as a core integration.

These projects are all built during evenings and weekends — mostly because I enjoy it, and because it's awesome to see others benefit from the work. I'm also pretty responsive to issues and always happy to help out when I can.
