At the center of Recidiviz is our data platform providing a common, extensible foundation for understanding criminal justice systems. It includes a system for the ingestion of individual- and aggregate-level records from different source data systems. We normalize, link, and validate raw incoming data to create a standardized data layer from which common analytics can be performed.

Atop this platform, we and our partners build products to power inform decision-making, tailor workflows within justice systems, and monitor impact.

The documentation in this wiki describes the platform, including its architecture, data schemas, methodology, and development. The documentation should be considered living: suggestions, bug reports, and improvements are always welcome. Reach out to [email protected] with comments or questions!
